These Terms and Conditions apply to every reservation and stay at Barghorn Bed & Wellness in Barsingerhorn. By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Reservations
A reservation becomes final once it has been confirmed by Barghorn Bed & Wellness. If a reservation is made through a booking platform such as Airbnb or Booking.com, the terms and conditions of that platform also apply.
The person making the reservation is responsible for all guests staying under that reservation.
2. Prices and payment
The price of the stay is the price stated on our website or the booking platform used at the time the reservation is made.
Any additional charges, such as tourist tax and additional services, will be stated during the reservation process or in the booking confirmation.
Payment must be made in accordance with the payment terms specified at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to reservations for accommodation on a specific date or during a specific period.
In the event of cancellation, the cancellation terms stated during the reservation process and forming part of the booking will apply.
For reservations made through Airbnb, Booking.com or another booking platform, the cancellation terms applicable to the relevant reservation on that platform will apply.
4. Arrival and departure
The accommodation is available from the check-in time specified in the reservation.
On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated no later than 11:00 a.m., unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.
Late check-out is only possible with prior approval.
5. Guests and use of the accommodation
Barghorn Bed & Wellness is an adults-only (18+) accommodation and is designed for a maximum of two people.
No more than two people may stay overnight in the accommodation. Additional visitors are only permitted with the prior approval of Barghorn Bed & Wellness.
The accommodation is intended for recreational stays. Parties, gatherings and other activities that may cause a disturbance are not permitted.
The lead guest is responsible for the proper use of the accommodation, its contents and the wellness facilities by both guests.
6. Sauna and hot tub
The sauna and hot tub are intended exclusively for private use by registered guests. Guests use these facilities at their own responsibility and must follow the provided operating and safety instructions.
After use, we kindly ask guests to return the temperature of the hot tub to 33°C.
7. Damage
Any damage to the accommodation, its contents or wellness facilities must be reported to us as soon as possible.
If damage is caused by careless or improper use by a guest, the actual costs of repair or replacement may be charged to the lead guest.
Normal signs of use and wear and tear will, of course, not be charged.
8. Disturbance and house rules
We ask our guests to be considerate of the surrounding area and local residents.
Guests must not cause unnecessary noise or disturbance. In the event of serious disturbance, dangerous behaviour or deliberate violation of the house rules, we reserve the right to terminate the stay.
9. Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation.
10. Guests’ belongings
Barghorn Bed & Wellness is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of guests’ personal belongings, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
11. Technical issues
We make every effort to ensure that the accommodation and wellness facilities are provided in good working order.
Any unexpected technical issue will be resolved as soon as reasonably possible. A technical issue does not automatically entitle the guest to a full or partial refund. Whether compensation is reasonable will depend on the nature, severity and duration of the issue.
12. Force majeure
If a stay cannot be provided due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will consult with the guest to find an appropriate solution. The guest’s statutory rights remain unaffected.
13. Complaints
If anything is not to your satisfaction during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to find a suitable solution.
14. Applicable law
Reservations and agreements with Barghorn Bed & Wellness are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.
