Barghorn Bed & Wellness uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure that our website functions properly and securely and to enable you to make a reservation for your stay.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how we use them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit a website. Cookies may, for example, be necessary for a website to function properly or to remember certain preferences.
Necessary cookies
We may use functional and technically necessary cookies to ensure that our website and online reservation process function correctly.
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website do not require prior consent.
Reservation system
We use external systems, including Smoobu, to manage and process reservations.
When you use the reservation system, cookies or similar technologies may be used where necessary to ensure that the reservation process functions correctly.
Payments
We may use PayPal for online payments.
When you choose to pay via PayPal, you may be redirected to a PayPal environment or a PayPal payment module may be loaded. PayPal may use cookies and other technologies in the process.
PayPal’s own privacy and cookie policies also apply to this processing.
Analytics cookies
We may use analytics cookies to gain insight into how our website is used, for example which pages are visited and how visitors find our website.
Where consent is required for such cookies, they will only be placed after you have given your consent.
Marketing cookies
If we use marketing or tracking cookies in the future, for example for advertising or measuring advertising campaigns, these cookies will not be placed before you have given your consent, where required by law.
External websites
Our website may contain links to external websites and booking platforms, such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
When you visit an external website, the privacy and cookie policies of that party apply. Barghorn Bed & Wellness has no control over cookies placed by these external websites.
Changing your cookie preferences
If our website uses cookies that require your consent, you can specify your preferences through the cookie settings on our website and change or withdraw your consent at a later time.
You can also delete or block cookies through your internet browser. Blocking technically necessary cookies may prevent certain parts of the website or reservation process from functioning correctly.
Changes
We may amend this Cookie Policy if our website, the systems we use or our legal obligations change. The most recent version will always be published on our website.
